Release Shaker Aamer

Shaker Aamer is a former British resident, with a wife and children living in the UK. He has been detained without charge or trial at Guantánamo Bay for nearly nine years. He also alleges that he has been tortured.
Amnesty International believes that if Shaker Aamer is not to be charged and given a fair trial by the US, he should be released and returned to his family in the UK. We now want to focus our efforts on the US authorities to get Shaker Aamer released.
