The US state of Georgia shamefully executed Troy Davis on 21 September 2011, despite serious doubts about his guilt.

Thank you to the 10,000 of you who left messages of solidarity and support for Troy's family in the weeks that followed. 

We have passed your messages to the Davis family. Your words and support will mean a great deal to them at this time.

Our work towards abolishing the death penalty around the work continues.There are thousands more awaiting execution in the USA alone at this moment.
